‘Tarmeem’ Obtains ISO Certification for Its Quality Management System
Riyadh, October 21, 2025, SPA -- The King Salman bin Abdulaziz Center for Historical Materials Conservation (Tarmeem), affiliated with the King Abdulaziz Foundation (Darah), has achieved a significant milestone by obtaining the ISO 9001:2015 certification for its Quality Management System. This certification reflects the center’s compliance with international standards in the fields of restoration, chemical processing, sterilization, digital imaging, microfilming, and binding of historical materials.
CEO of the King Abdulaziz Foundation Turki Alshuwaier received the certificate from Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Standards and Quality Company for Commercial Services Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Ahmari.
The certification, issued by the UK-based LMS Assessments Limited and accredited by the international accreditation bodies EGAC and IAF, marks international recognition of the center’s efficiency and its ability to implement a modern quality management system. It also reaffirms the center’s commitment to the highest standards of safety, precision, and excellence in handling historical documents and manuscripts.
