Madinah’s 'Manarah' Wins Geospatial, Reality Modeling Going Digital Award at YII 2025 in Amsterdam

   Madinah, October 21, 2025, SPA -- The 'Manarah' Urban Data Platform of Al Madinah Region Development Authority has won the Geospatial and Reality Modeling Going Digital Award at the 2025 edition of Bentley’s Year in Infrastructure Conference (YII 2025), held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
   The new global milestone adds to Madinah’s pioneering record in the field of urban data and smart city technologies.
   The Manarah platform competed in the final round among more than 250 projects from 47 countries, across 12 main categories covering various fields of digital infrastructure, including smart cities, energy, structural engineering, and reality modeling.
   This recognition spotlights the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to build an ambitious nation with a thriving economy and vibrant society. The vision aims to advance innovation in digital infrastructure and promote digital transformation through the use of geospatial data to develop smart cities and services, further strengthening the Kingdom’s global standing in advanced technologies.
