Technology of Producing Oxide-film Insulated Wires Developed in DPRK
Pyongyang, October 17 (KCNA) -- According to Rodong Sinmun, technicians of the Paeksung insulated wire production station under the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports developed a technology of producing oxide-film insulated wires and succeeded in establishing the production process of their own style.
The insulating structure of this wire is the film with aluminum oxide as its main component. This wire has good insulation property and is resistant to bending, heating and cooling. Application fields of this light electric wire are being expanded as it can take the place of enamel-coated copper wire, nichrome wire and electrode plate.
Its development and the establishment of its mass-producing process opened up a prospect for saving precious nonferrous metal resources of the country and lots of electricity.
Various kinds of power-saving heating products developed by the station in recent years are popular as their heating time is fast and heat efficiency is high.
The production process of the oxide film insulated aluminium wire registered as a patent of the DPRK is drawing the attention of the scientific circles for its great economic effectiveness. -0-
