Justice Minister participates in 35th GCC Ministers of Justice Meeting in Kuwait

Kuwait, Oct. 12 (BNA): Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Mawada, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, participated in the 35th meeting of Ministers of Justice of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), held in Kuwait.
The meeting discussed a number of important topics aimed at developing and enhancing judicial, legal, and judicial cooperation among GCC countries. Key items included a proposal to establish an electronic platform for linking judicial announcements and notifications between member states, and the preparation of a unified policy to strengthen cooperation among the Ministries of Justice in the GCC.
The meeting also reviewed the draft unified rules to combat discrimination, hate speech, and contempt of religions and beliefs, as well as the draft unified rules to combat cybercrimes in the GCC countries.
Additionally, the meeting discussed reports related to preparatory meetings, including the meeting of directors and heads of legal and judicial training centers and institutes in the GCC, and the meeting of officials in international cooperation and foreign relations departments of the Ministries of Justice across the GCC states.
