Solana expresses sorrow at the tragic plane crash in Iran
EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) Javier Solana expressed condolences on the plane crash in Iran which claimed lives of 168 civilians on Wednesday.
The message which was sent to the families of the victims of the tragic plane crash and to the government of Iran reads as follows:
“It is with great sorrow that I have learned that a passenger plane, carrying more than 150 passengers, crashed this morning in North Western Iran. I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the families of the victims of this tragic accident and to the Iranian government.”
A passenger plane with some 168 people on board crashed near Jannat-Abad village in the suburb of the provincial capital city of Qazvin on Wednesday.
