General Secretary of CPV Central Committee Arrives Here
Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- At the invitation of Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, To Lam, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, arrived here by plane for his personal use on October 9 to pay a state visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and to take part in the celebrations of the 80th founding anniversary of the WPK.
The flags of the DPRK and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam were fluttering at the flagstaffs of Pyongyang International Airport and the guard of honor of the Korean People's Army lined up at the apron before the terminal.
He was greeted by Kim Song Nam, alternate member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and director of the International Department of the WPK Central Committee, Im Chon Il, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK.
A woman worker presented a bouquet to To Lam.
Children welcomed a goodwill mission of Vietnam, waving the flags of the two countries. -0-
