Saudi Arabia to Host First Annual General Meeting of MENA Asset Recovery Inter-Agency Network

Jeddah, October 06, 2025, SPA -- Saudi Arabia, represented by the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha), will host the first annual general meeting of the Asset Recovery Inter-Agency Network in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA-ARIN) in Jeddah from Wednesday to Thursday.
The meeting will bring together high-level representatives from member states, along with regional and international organizations and networks engaged in asset recovery. The event builds on the efforts led by the Kingdom in establishing the network.
Following the establishment of MENA-ARIN on November 21, 2024, Saudi Arabia, through Nazaha, successfully hosted the network's permanent secretariat during the 39th Plenary and Working Group Meetings of the Middle East and North Africa Financial Action Task Force (MENAFATF) in Riyadh. The establishment received broad international endorsement and support from the Camden Asset Recovery Inter-Agency Network (CARIN) Secretariat, which commended Saudi Arabia’s leadership and presidency of MENA-ARIN for 2025.
The inaugural general meeting marks the official start of the network's operations, aimed at strengthening regional cooperation, enhancing international partnerships, and developing more effective mechanisms to address challenges related to asset recovery and the promotion of integrity.
