Oil Minister meets Russian Deputy Minister of Energy

Manama, Sep. 17 (BNA): Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Dainah, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, met with Roman Marshavin, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, in the presence of Dr. Alexey Skosyrev, Ambassador of Russia to the Kingdom of Bahrain, on the sidelines of the Middle East Oil, Gas and Geosciences Show (MEOS GEO). The event is held in Bahrain from September 16-18 2025 at the Exhibition World Bahrain.

Dr. Bin Dainah emphasised the strong bilateral relations between the Kingdom and Russia, particularly in the energy sector.

Both sides discussed means to enhance cooperation in energy, explored partnership opportunities amid global changes in oil and gas, and considered exchanging expertise, modern technologies, and cooperation on sustainable energy projects.

Marshavin commended the events organisation and programme richness. He confirmed Russia’s commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation with Bahrain across all energy domains and supporting existing strategic partnerships.
