Oil Minister receives Yemeni counterpart

Manama, Sep. 17 (BNA): Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Dainah, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, received Dr. Saeed Suleiman Al Shamasy, Minister of Oil and Minerals of the Republic of Yemen, on the sidelines of the Middle East Oil, Gas and Geosciences Show (MEOS GEO), hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain from September 16-18 at the Exhibition World Bahrain.

Dr. Bn Dainah commended the longstanding ties between Bahrain and Yemen and the progress achieved across various domains. He underlined the commitment to advance energy cooperation and explore opportunities to expand joint work.

On his part, Dr. Al Shamasy commended the Kingdom for hosting this global event, which serves as a platform to learn about the latest technologies and exchange expertise and knowledge. He emphasised Yemen’s commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation with Bahrain in all domains.
