Bahrain participates in 101st Gulf Health Council executive meeting in Riyadh

Riyadh, Sep. 17 (BNA): Dr. Lulwa Rashid Showaiter, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, and Dr. Samya Ali Bahram, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health, participated in the 101st meeting of the Executive Board of the Gulf Health Council, held in Riyadh.

The meeting highlighted the importance of enhancing cooperation and coordination among member states to advance joint Gulf health efforts and achieve integration across various health domains.

The board members discussed key topics aimed at sustaining regional coordination, launching constructive initiatives and supporting health decision-making in line with regional and global developments.

They also reviewed the Gulf Health Council’s 2026–2030 strategy in line with future priorities.
