Turkmenistan Trade Minister receives Bahraini Ambassador

Ashgabat, Sep. 17 (BNA): Nazar Agahanov, Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan, received Bassam Ahmed Marzooq, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Turkmenistan, resident in Ankara.

The minister congratulated the ambassador on presenting his credentials as non-resident ambassador and emphasised his country’s keenness to strengthen cooperation with Bahrain across various domains to serve shared interests.

Ambassador Marzooq reiterated Bahrain’s interest in consolidating relations, particularly in trade, economic cooperation, and investment opportunities, in support of common goals and aspirations.

The meeting discussed issues of common interest and means to enhance cooperation.
