Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University celebrates 30th anniversary

Bishkek, Sept. 18, 2025 /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev and Vice President of the Republic of Turkey Cevdet Yilmaz attended a ceremony of the 30th anniversary of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.

On behalf of President Sadyr Zhaparov and the entire Cabinet of Ministers, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers congratulated the faculty and students on the university's anniversary. Adylbek Kasymaliev noted that for the past three years, the university has been ranked among the top 1,000 universities in the world and among the top ten universities in Central Asia, which in turn speaks to its high quality of education and scientific potential.

The Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University is not just an educational institution, but one of the key centers of science, education, and international academic cooperation in Kyrgyzstan, he said.

The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Republic of Turkey for its significant contribution and support in strengthening the friendship between the two nations and developing education in Kyrgyzstan, particularly in the development of Manas University.

In turn, Vice President of the Republic of Turkey Cevdet Yılmaz congratulated the faculty and students on the university's 30th anniversary, wishing them continued success.

From 2003 to today, the university has graduated 14,250 students from 12 countries and 23 Turkic nations.
