Forum of DPRK Young People Held

 Pyongyang, September 17 (KCNA) -- A forum of youth and students "Patriotic Youths Produced by the Capital City of Pyongyang" took place at the Pyongyang Municipal Youth Park Open-Air Theatre on Tuesday.
Present there were officials of the youth league and youth and students in the municipality.
The speakers referred to the youthful days when they performed worthy labour feats on the road for the country and people, society and the collective.
Choe Hun Song, worker of the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill, has taken care of the surrounding area of the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill for several years and Kwon Un Jong, worker of the mill, has fulfilled the national economic plan for 15 years during the work of the Seventh Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and the plan for 10 years during the work of the Eighth WPK Central Committee and thus won Kim Jong Il Youth Honor Prize.
Ri Hyo Sim, worker of the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill who has overfulfilled the yearly national economic plan over the past 10-odd years and thus won Kim Il Sung Youth Honor Prize, said that the strong patriotic spirit is the great driving force which enables ordinary women to become the pioneers of the era.
Kim Mi Gyong, student of Pyongyang University of Publication and Printing who gave pleasure to the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un by successfully carrying out the task for creating designs for signboards of the public service amenities in a new street of Hwasong area, called upon all students to learn hard to become useful and creative talents required by the times.
Kim Kil Song, student of Kim Il Sung University, and Kim Hyon Gyong, student of Kim Chol Ju University of Education, referred to the fact that they bagged gold medals in the table tennis events of the First International Summer Sports Contest of University Students held in July, 2024.
Good deeds of Choe Hyang, educator of the Mirim Kindergarten in Sadong District, who married a special disabled soldier, and Pak Yong Sim, junior doctor of Unha General Clinic in Ryongsong District who has taken care of orphans though she is a girl, vividly represented the ideological and spiritual traits of the young people of the present era. -0-
