Saudi Arabia Welcomes UN General Assembly Adoption of New York Declaration on Settlement of Palestinian Issue

     Riyadh, September 12, 2025, SPA -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's welcome of the UN General Assembly's adoption of the New York Declaration and its annexes issued by the high-level international conference for the peaceful settlement of the Palestinian issue and the implementation of the two-state solution, which was co-chaired by Saudi Arabia and the French Republic.
   "This resolution, which was voted on by a large majority of 142 countries, confirms the international consensus on moving toward a peaceful future where the Palestinian people can obtain their legitimate right to establish their independent state on the 1967 borders, with east Jerusalem as its capital,” the ministry said in a statement.
