Karbala Governor Discusses Strengthening Joint Cooperation with Iranian Vice President

Karbala /NINA/- The Governor of Karbala, Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, received the Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hussein Zolfaghari, and his accompanying delegation at the governorate's headquarters as part of his official tour of Iraq.

During the meeting, ways to enhance joint cooperation were discussed, particularly in the field of combating drugs and related security and health aspects. Measures taken to treat and recover from this dangerous scourge that threatens societies were also reviewed.

This meeting is an extension of the meetings held by the visiting delegation with the Ministries of Interior and Health, contributing to supporting joint efforts to confront these challenges. /End
