Premiere of Kyrgyz play "Semetey" to take place in Korea

Bishkek, Sept.11,2025 /Kabar/. On November 28-29 of this year, the premiere of the play "Semetey" will take place in the city of Gwangju, South Korea, then it will be shown in Bishkek on December 12-13, the press service of the Ministry of Culture reported.

According to the ministry, First Deputy Minister Soyuzbek Nadyrbekov met with producer of the Asia Culture Center (ACC) under the Ministry of Culture of South Korea Kim Jong Won and head of the Gyeongbuk training center Sok Kwon Suk.

The parties noted the dynamic development of cooperation in the cultural sector between the two countries and concluded that the play "Semetey" is a symbol of fruitful cooperation.

In October 2024, a showreel sketch of the play "Semetey" was presented to viewers at the Asia Culture Center and was highly appreciated.
