FIFA Expresses Solidarity with Qatar Following Israeli Attack

Zurich, September 10 (QNA) - FIFA President Gianni Infantino has expressed his full solidarity with the State of Qatar following the Israeli attack that targeted residential compounds housing several leaders of Hamas in Doha.
In a message posted on his official Instagram account, Infantino affirmed that the world's largest sporting organization stands with Qatar, the host nation of the most recent World Cup edition in 2022.
FIFA President said, "My thoughts and sympathies are with Qatar and the innocent people of Qatar who have been impacted by today's events."
 The FIFA President also recalled Qatar's historic football legacy, highlighting its successful hosting of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. He described the tournament as the most successful edition in the history of the World Cup - an unforgettable event that united the entire world. (QNA)
