Bahraini King arrives in Yanbu

Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, July 14, SPA -- Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al
Khalifa arrived here today on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

At Prince Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz Airport, he was received by the
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al
Saud.

The Bahraini King was also received by Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the
Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Interior; Prince Abdel-Ellah bin
Abdulaziz, Adviser to the King; Prince Miqren bin Abdulaziz, the
Chief of General Intelligence; Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thenayan
Al Saud, President of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu;
Prince Abdulaziz bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Madinah
Region; and Bahraini Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sheikh
Mohammed Salih Al-Sheikh Ali.

Then, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin
Abdulaziz Al Saud inaugurated the development project of Prince
Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz Airport, where he unveiled the plaque
marking the opening of the project.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa
Al Khalifa.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Bahraini King were briefed
on the project by the President of the General Authority for Civil
Aviation.

Following that, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa shook hands with Prince
Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saud, the Minister of Education;
Prince Mansour bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, Adviser to the King; Prince
Dr. Bandar bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Saud, Adviser to the King;
Prince Dr. Abdulaziz bin Sattam bin Abdulaziz; Prince Saud bin
Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; Prince Mansour bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz;
Prince Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz
bin Majed bin Abdulaziz; Prince Abdulmajid bin Abdul-Ellah bin
Abdulaziz; Prince Omar bin Abdulaziz bin Majed bin Abdulaziz; and a
number of ministers and senior civil and military officials.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques shook hands with members of the
official delegation accompanying the King of Bahrain.

The President of the General Authority for Civil Aviation delivered a
speech in which he welcomed the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques,
thanking him for patronizing the inauguration ceremony of this
project.

He also said that the Prince Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz Airport has
been developed in accordance with the state-of-the-art specifications
and standards, and provided with advanced equipment and systems. The
cost of the development project amounted to more than SR 200 million.
The accommodation capacity of the airport is 170,000 passengers
annually. The airport can now provide services to 600,000 passengers.

In an official convoy, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and King
of Bahrain headed for Yanbu Industrial City.

The delegation accompanying the King of Bahrain includes Minister of
the Royal Court Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Salman Al Khalifa; Head
of the Survey and Land Registration Sheikh Salman bin Abdullah bin
Hamad Al Khalifa; Advisor to the King of Bahrain for Cultural and
Scientific Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Jabir Al-Ansari; Sheikh Hamad bin
Ibrahim Al Khalifa; Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin
Mohammed Al Khalifa; Advisor to the Prime Minister for Cultural
Affairs Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Mutawa; Minister of Industry and
Commerce Dr. Hassan bin Abdullah Fakhro; Adviser to the King of
Bahrain for Diplomatic Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulghaffar
Abdullah; President of Oil and Gas Affairs Dr. Abdulhussain Ali
Mirza; Private Secretary to the King of Bahrain Hamad bin Ali
