HM King departs Salalah in Oman

Muscat, Aug. 26 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today departed Salalah, Sultanate of Oman, returning to the Kingdom of Bahrain following a private visit made at the invitation of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman.
During the visit, His Majesty held talks with His Majesty the Sultan, which highlighted the deep longstanding ties and historical relations between the two countries, as well as means to enhance bilateral cooperation and joint action.
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik bid farewell to His Majesty the King upon departure.
Before leaving the Sultanate of Oman, His Majesty King Hamad expressed appreciation to His Majesty the Sultan and to the people of Oman for the warm welcome and generous hospitality, noting Salalah’s standing as a leading tourist destination, supported by the Government’s ongoing development efforts.
His Majesty extended best wishes of continued health and success to His Majesty the Sultan, and of further progress and prosperity to Oman and its people.
Additionally, His Majesty the King sent a message to His Majesty the Sultan, expressing appreciation for the warm reception extended to HM the King and the accompanying delegation during the visit.
Their Highnesses and senior Omani officials were also present to bid farewell to His Majesty the King.
