Production of Custom-built Equipment and Updating at Ryongsong Machine Complex

Pyongyang, August 26 (KCNA) -- The Ryongsong Machine Complex of the DPRK is pushing ahead with the production of custom-built equipment and updating.
In order to produce various kinds of equipment to be sent to several sectors of the national economy in the shortest time in a qualitative way, the complex is carrying out its daily production plan by boosting the inter-process ties while making effective use of the existing equipment and production potential.
The project for modernizing the complex is progressing apace to turn it into a standard and model of the machine-building industry sector.
The complex is focusing forces and means on the construction of the projects to be finished this year and intensifying the policy-oriented and technical guidance to ensure the quality of buildings. It is also erecting production and auxiliary buildings.
Technicians of the complex and relevant units are solving sci-tech problems arising in distributing the production processes rationally and putting them on an automated and intelligent basis of a higher level.
Builders of the Tanchon Mining Industry Construction Complex, the Equipment Assembly Complex, the Kumyagang Hydroelectric Power Station Construction Company and the Hamhung Industrial Construction Company are giving priority to manufacturing steel structures and meeting the requirements of designs and construction. -0-
