Foreign Minister meets Lebanese Chargé d’Affaires

Manama, Aug. 24 (BNA):  Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Mirna Khawly, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Lebanese Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, on the occasion of the conclusion of her tenure in the Kingdom.

Dr. Al Zayani commended the close ties between Bahrain and Lebanon and thanked the Lebanese Chargé d’Affaires for her efforts to enhance cooperation during her posting.  He wished her success in her future diplomatic work.  

On her part, Khawly expressed appreciation for the support and cooperation she received from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other authorities in the Kingdom, which helped her carry out her duties. She wished Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Khaled Yousif Al Jalahma, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs; Ambassador Salah Mohammed Shihab, Chief of Protocol; and Ambassador Ahmed Mohammed Al Turaifi, Head of the Arab and African Affairs Sector.
