24th Asian Junior Tenpin Bowling Championships Concludes on Incredible Note

Doha, August 02 (QNA) - The 24th Asian Junior Tenpin Bowling Championships (Qatar 2025) wound up Saturday at the Qatar International Bowling Centre.
The event featured an intense week of competition hosted by the Qatar Bowling Federation in collaboration with the Asian Bowling Federation.
Malaysia's Muhammad Aqil Faizal clinched the gold medal in the Boys' Masters event, closing out a commanding campaign. Kuwait's Nasser Al Kandari secured silver with a strong second-place finish, while Hong Kong's Dylan Lam took home the bronze, rounding out the podium.
Three players from the Qatari team participated, namely Talal Al Marri, who placed fifth, Abdulrahman Al Dosari, who finished seventh, and his teammate Musaad Al Muraikhi, who came in eighth.
The Qatari squad clinched four medals, primarily gold and silver in the doubles event, silver in the All-Events overall ranking, and bronze in the four-player team event.
At the girls' level, Malaysia's Qurratu Ain Pozi won the gold medal in the Girls' Masters event after defeating her compatriot Adelia Nur Syazalee, who took silver, while Chinese Taipei's Huang Hsin-Tsen placed third and won the bronze medal.
President of the International Bowling Federation (IBF) and the Asian Bowling Federation (ABF), Sheikh Talal Mohammad Al Sabah, and President of the Qatar Bowling Federation (QBF), Abdullah Sultan Al Qattan, crowned the winners as the tournament competitions were wrapping up.
Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Al Sabah lauded the success of this tournament, which marked a significant achievement in terms of organization and coaching, garnering broad approbation from all participants. He congratulated Qatar for this colossal success that was achieved.
The Arab tally is pretty satisfactory as Qatar has secured one gold, two silvers, and a bronze, with Kuwait claiming three gold medals in the overall standings and two silver medals in Masters and team events. Congratulations to those winners in this incredible edition, Al Sabah added.
For his part, Al Qattan stated in a press remark that the success underscores the terrific efforts marshalled by the organizing committee to present a successful and incredible image.
There is a sense of happiness for this accomplishment throughout this tournament as the hosting and organization were pretty satisfactory. All participating delegations have persistently commended this outstanding tournament, something that confirms the value and Qatar's leading position in terms of organization, Al Qattan underlined.
Al Qattan confirmed that he is pretty satisfied with this achievement, along with the clinched four different medals, which represent a great catalyst for those young players in the future.
The tournament witnessed the participation of 11 countries, with 79 male players and 20 female players representing the national teams of Qatar (the host), Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, China, Hong Kong, Chinese Taipei, Bahrain, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and India.
