Millions of DPRK People Visit Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery

 Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- More than 2.56 million officials, working people, service personnel, youth and students in the DPRK have visited the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery for ten-odd years since its inauguration.
The Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery is a monument of the era, which was built thanks to the deep revolutionary comradeship and noble moral obligation of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who values the heroic feats of the defenders of the country in the 1950s who repelled the invasion by the U.S. imperialists and honorably defended the country under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung, an ever-victorious and iron-willed brilliant commander and gives an everlasting life to them.
The cemetery was successfully built on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the war victory under the energetic guidance of Kim Jong Un and, thereby, the history of the war victory and the heroic feats performed in the great years have been further shined.
Visitors to the cemetery solemnly cherish the staunch spirit of defending the country and indomitable fighting spirit displayed by the victorious wartime generation who defeated the imperialist allied forces led by U.S. imperialism boasted of being the "strongest" in the world under the outstanding leadership of the President and worked unprecedented miracles in the world war history.
In front of the tombstones of the heroic soldiers, the visitors were greatly moved by the benevolence of the Workers' Party of Korea that puts forward the defenders of the country in the 1950s as the models of genuine patriots and ardent revolutionaries to be praised and followed for all ages.
More than 100 000 officials, working people, service personnel, youth and students from more than 1 200 units, including Kim Il Sung University, the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill, the Pyongyang Foodstuff Complex and the trade union committee in Sosong District, have visited the cemetery this year. -0-
