HM King receives US Ambassador

Manama, July 21 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received Steven C. Bondy, Ambassador of the United States to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Al Safriya Palace.

HM the King reviewed the strong bilateral relations between Bahrain and the United States and the advanced levels of cooperation achieved across various sectors. 

The discussion also highlighted the outcomes of the successful visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the United States.

HM the King underscored Bahrain’s pride in its longstanding historical ties and strong strategic partnership with the United States, which span decades of cooperation and coordination in pursuit of shared goals and mutual interests.

HM King Hamad also commended the efforts of the US Ambassador in strengthening Bahrain-US relations.

Furthermore, HM the King also commended the role of the US administration on the international stage and its active efforts in promoting regional and global peace and security.

In recognition of the Ambassador’s contributions to advancing the relations between the two countries, HM the King presented him with the Order of Bahrain (Wisam al Bahrain), First Class. 

On his part, Ambassador Bondy expressed his gratitude to His Majesty for this honour, commending HM the King’s leadership and unwavering support in enhancing the distinguished Bahrain-US partnership and relations.
