Interior Minister receives outgoing US Ambassador

Manama, July 21 (BNA):  General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, received Steven C. Bondy, outgoing Ambassador of the United States to Bahrain.

Gen. Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah emphasised the longstanding ties and strategic partnership between Bahrain and the US, particularly in security cooperation. He also noted the ongoing development of this partnership and the mutual commitment to exchanging expertise in areas of shared security interest.

Gen. Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah commended the Ambassador’s role in supporting bilateral relations across various domains, wishing him continued success in his future duties.

The meeting also reviewed ongoing cooperation programmes and their role in advancing joint efforts that serve the interests of both countries.
