Iran’s junior freestyle wrestlers lifts Asian championship trophy
Iran’s junior freestyle wrestling team clinched the title of the 2009 Asian Junior Freestyle Wrestling Championships in Manila, the Philippines, on Sunday.
The under 20-year old team bagged three gold and four bronze medals in the two-day event which ended on July 12 in Manila.
The Iranian team scored 66 points while teams from Kazakhstan with 61 and India with 60 points ranked second and third respectively in the tournament.
