29th Regular General Meeting of Chongsanghoe Held
Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- The 29th regular general meeting of the Korean Youth Commercial Association in Japan (Chongsanghoe) was held in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan on July 5.
Present there were Pak Ku Ho, first vice-chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), Jo Il Yon, vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Hyon Tae Sik, director of its Economic Department, Kim Min Gwan, chairman of Chongsanghoe, and its members.
The national anthem of the DPRK was played.
Introduced at the meeting was a congratulatory message from the homeland.
O Hyong Se, chairman of the Central Standing Management Board of the Korean Youth Commercial Association in Japan, made a report.
The reporter referred to the successes made in the work for supporting national education and strengthening the fighting efficiency of all basic organizations during the period under review.
In hearty response to the historic letter sent by the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un to Chongryon officials and Koreans in Japan on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the formation of Chongryon, he will carry forward the spirit and tradition of patriotism and lead the patriotic movement including national education to bring the overall work of Chongsanghoe to a higher stage in the period of its 29th-term Chongsanghoe, he said.
Speeches were made at the meeting.
Then "Chongsanghoe Prize" was awarded to exemplary members.
An Kang Ji was newly elected as chairperson of Chongsanghoe.
Pak Ku Ho made a speech.
He called for glorifying generation after generation the immortal exploits performed by the peerlessly great men who formed and developed Chongsanghoe and further strengthening the organization into a broad-based powerful youth organization and an attractive economic organization which set a new model of patriotism with its 30th formation anniversary as an occasion. -0-
