Impressive Anecdotes Associated with Noble Revolutionary Career of President Kim Il Sung

Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- Many revolutionary anecdotes were produced during the days when President Kim Il Sung successfully applied his noble intention of "The People Are God" in revolutionary practice.
It was lunchtime on one day in January 1962, when Kim Il Sung finished his talk with officials on his field guidance at Sinchon County of South Hwanghae Province.
Before going to a lodging place, the President asked an official the name of the then cooperative farm where women stopped the front car.
Hearing the fact from the official that it was the then Wonam Cooperative Farm and the women who wanted to see the President were sent back, the President said that he should meet them even if he skipped a lunch, and went to the farm to meet the people's wishes.
In a winter day of one year, he saw the students not putting on overcoats and it weighed so heavily on his mind. Next day, he discussed the issue of solving the clothing problem of the children and students in the rural areas at a meeting of the Political Committee of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
At the meeting of the Political Committee of the Party Central Committee, he gave detailed instructions on the ways to solve the clothing problem of the children and students in the rural areas. He personally guided the production of clothes to ensure that winter padded clothes were supplied to all the children and students in the rural areas across the country free of charge.
One day, an official asked the President to have a rest even for a moment. The President said: As an old saying goes, if a vassal does many things, the king will be comfortable, and I am a vassal of the people and the people are our king.
Such impressive anecdotes still convey the noble popular traits of the President. -0-
