Deputy Prime Minister receives outgoing US Ambassador

Manama, July 8 (BNA): Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, received Steven C. Bondy, the outgoing Ambassador of the United States to Bahrain.

Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah emphasised the Bahrain-US relations and their ongoing development, reflecting a close strategic partnership and shared commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation.

He also highlighted the joint commitment to build on past successes and pursue new opportunities for cooperation that support development goals.

Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah expressed appreciation for the Ambassador’s efforts in strengthening cooperation between the two countries and wished him success in his future assignments.

The meeting also reviewed recent regional and international developments.

Ambassador Bondy expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the cooperation and support he received during his diplomatic service in Bahrain, wishing the Kingdom and its people further progress and prosperity.
