Foreign Minister holds telephone call with Lebanese counterpart

Manama, July 7 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a telephone call with Youssef Rajji, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of the Republic of Lebanon.

The two ministers discussed the close relations between Bahrain and Lebanon and means to enhance cooperation across various domains in support of mutual interests.

They also discussed the latest regional developments and their impact on security and stability, as well as regional and international efforts to de-escalate tensions and advance comprehensive, sustainable peace to safeguard stability and fulfil the aspirations of the region’s peoples for development and prosperity.
