Under the Patronage of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad, Bahrain Swimming Association Marks 50th Anniversary

Manama, July 7 (BNA): Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), the Bahrain Swimming Association will host its Golden Jubilee celebration on July 14 at Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB), marking 50 years since its establishment.

The event will honour the association’s history of achievements and recognise swimmers, administrators, and former presidents who played an important role in the development of aquatic sports in the Kingdom.

The celebration underscores the association’s commitment to highlighting its successful journey and honouring those who advanced Bahrain’s presence in regional and international arenas.  It also aims to inspire current and future generations of athletes to continue striving for excellence, in line with the Kingdom’s ongoing progress under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
