Reverence for President Kim Il Sung
Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- President Kim Il Sung was boundlessly respected and trusted by all people as he made a great contribution to accomplishing the socialist cause and the human cause of independence with his outstanding idea, energetic leadership and noble traits.
After meeting the President, prominent state leaders of different countries highly praised him as the great master of world politics and boundlessly revered him.
When the President paid an official goodwill visit to the former Soviet Union in 1949, Stalin, the then party and state leader, hosted a grand banquet in welcome of him.
He, in his toast, said that Comrade Kim Il Sung was a genuine internationalist and model communist who defended the Soviet Union with blood and arms from the imperialist aggression in the East.
At Badinh Square in Hanoi, which was crowded with tens of thousands of people in welcome of Kim Il Sung who visited Vietnam in November 1958, President Ho Chi Minh said that Comrade Kim Il Sung was the peerless hero who defeated the two imperialisms for the first time in the East and the outstanding leader of building a new society, the DPRK people were dashing forward like the wind towards the high peak of socialism in the spirit of Chollima under the leadership of Comrade Kim Il Sung, startling the whole world, and proposed to shout "hurrah!" for extending thanks to Comrade Kim Il Sung for giving the spirit of Chollima to them.
President Soekarno opened his mind to Kim Il Sung who visited Indonesia in April 1965 to attend the celebrations of the 10th anniversary of the Bandung Conference, saying that it is a pity that the land of the DPRK is too small for the authority of Premier Kim Il Sung, but as Premier Kim Il Sung moves the world, it is just the same as he has the world.
When Kim Il Sung visited China in April 1975, Chairman Mao Zedong grasped the two hands of the President, saying that it is only Comrade Kim Il Sung who can lead the world revolution, and he sincerely asked the President to continue to lead the world revolution and the international communist movement in the future, too.
Many other foreign state leaders, fascinated by the personality of the President as a man of great eminence, boundlessly revered for him.
The President was the most prominent elder statesman, great sage of mankind and peerlessly great man representing the 20th century, recognized by state leaders of the world. -0-
