Equipment for Regional-Industry Factories Developed

 Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- Scientific researches for contributing to implementing the Regional Development 20×10 Policy of the Workers' Party of Korea are being conducted at universities of the DPRK.
The research group of Kim Chaek University of Technology manufactured a high-performance vacuum packer to contribute to saving the cost of production.
Researchers dispatched to Kujang County of North Phyongan Province and Yonthan County of North Hwanghae Province solved the problems arising in operating various kinds of equipment and completing the integrated production system at the foodstuff factories, and helped the employees improve their technical knowledge and skills.
The research group of Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering has finished manufacturing trial products of various kinds of equipment and updated their technical characters.
Teachers and researchers of Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry successfully made a liquid sugar concentrator for candy production.
Pyongyang Jang Chol Gu University of Commerce worked out the technical guideline conducive to reducing the cost and improving quality by optimizing the production of garment products and is  introducing it into garment factories across the country. -0-
