Lebanese President receives credentials of Bahraini Ambassador to Lebanon

Beirut, July 1 (BNA): His Excellency Joseph Aoun, President of the Republic of Lebanon, received the credentials of Waheed Mubarak Sayyar, who has been appointed as Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Lebanon, residing in Damascus. 

During the ceremony, Ambassador Sayyar conveyed the regards of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. 

The ambassador expressed his hope to further develop the longstanding ties between the two nations in means that serve their mutual interests.

On his part, HE President Aoun asked the ambassador to convey his greetings and best wishes to His Majesty the King and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. His Excellency expressed appreciation for Bahrain’s support and wished the Kingdom and its people continued growth and success. HE the President also underlined the depth of relations between Lebanon and Bahrain, and wished Ambassador Sayyar every success in his diplomatic mission.
