Baghdad / NINA /-Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani stressed the importance of Syria's stability and what it represents for Iraqi national security.

During his reception, on Wednesday, of a delegation from the Shiite Islamic Scholars Authority in Syria, headed by Sheikh Adham al-Khatib, al-Sudani stressed the importance of the participation of all Spectra of the Syrian people in establishing a state based on the principle of citizenship, preserving the unity of Syrian territory and sovereignty, and condemning any violation thereof.
