Melamine Resin Production Line Established at Hungnam Fertilizer Complex

 Pyongyang, June 10 (KCNA) -- A melamine resin production line was established at the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex in the DPRK.
All processes of the new resin production line including the synthesis process of melamine monomer are precise and formed in an energy-saving, resource-saving, technology-intensive and environment-protecting way.
The completion of the modern production line opened up a prospect for revitalizing the production of melamine resin urgently needed in the economic development and the improvement of the people's living standards with our technology and resources, and laid another solid foundation for putting the chemical industry on a Juche basis.
An inauguration ceremony of the melamine resin production line was held on the spot on June 9.
Present there were Yang Sung Ho, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Kim Chol Ha, minister of Chemical Industry, Ri Jong Nam, chief secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Pak Hyon Chol, chairman of the provincial people's committee, scientists, technicians and designers and officials of supply units who contributed to the construction and employees of the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex.
Yang Sung Ho made an inaugural address.
At the end of the ceremony, the participants went round the newly-built line.
