Production Goes up in Mining Industrial Sector of DPRK
Pyongyang, June 10 (KCNA) -- The mining industrial sector of the DPRK is making successes in the production of minerals and nonferrous metals by directing efforts to the management of equipment and technical control.
The Kwangmyong and the Kuljin pits of the Unpha Mine have taken measures to expand the mining and ore-conveying capacities, and introduced an efficient blasting method to boost the output.
The December 5 Youth Mine, which has intensified the researches on increasing the productivity of crystal mirabilite, is boosting the production by maintaining and repairing the equipment responsibly and applying a new method of removing blast gas.
The Riwon and the Kamuri mines are operating the stopes rationally and have applied valuable inventions and rationalization proposals to carry out their daily plans and contribute to consolidating the material and technical foundations for the sustainable development of production.
The workers of the Jungsan Mine have solved technical problems for raising the tunneling speed and improved the quality of products by lowering the moisture of concentrated ores.
The Yongyu Mine updates the performance of the jaw crusher and improves the capacity of belt conveyors in order to raise the productivity. The Munphyong Smeltery carefully checks the equipment and utilizes the method of recycling by the zinc oxide production line.
The Manpho Smeltery effectively maintains and repairs the compressors and lowers the copper grade of slag to raise the actual extraction rate of the products. And it is resolving the technical problems arising in reducing the production costs. -0-
