PM Receives Lebanese President in Baghdad

Baghdad/NINA/- Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani received Lebanese President Joseph Aoun in Baghdad.

A reception ceremony was held for the Lebanese President at Baghdad International Airport, which began with the playing of the Lebanese and Iraqi national anthems. The Lebanese President, accompanied by the Prime Minister, then inspected the honor guard.

The two sides will hold official talks, addressing overall Iraqi-Lebanese relations and ways to strengthen and develop them at various levels and fields. They will also review the general situation in the region and opportunities to enhance regional and international security and stability./ End
