LMRA CEO receives Sri Lankan Ambassador

Manama, May 28 (BNA): Nebras Taleb, Chief Executive Officer of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and Chairman of the National Committee to Combat Trafficking in Persons, received Shereen Shanika Dissanayake, Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to Bahrain.

Taleb emphasised the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between Bahrain and Sri Lanka across various domains.

The meeting reviewed Bahrain’s initiatives to enhance the work environment and protect the rights of all parties. Taleb commended the vital role of diplomatic missions in supporting government efforts to raise awareness among migrant workers about their rights and responsibilities, contributing to more effective coordination and positive outcomes at all levels.
