Riyadh, May 22, 2025, SPA -- The National Research and Development Center for Sustainable Agriculture (Estidamah) distributed over 20,000 blackberry and Taif rose seedlings to farmers in Al-Baha Region. This distribution, facilitated through the center's tissue culture laboratory, is part of Estidamah's efforts to support farmers and introduce modern agricultural techniques to regions with comparative advantages.
This initiative builds on Estidamah's previous agricultural efforts, which included the distribution of 52,000 seedlings in the region, such as blackberries, Taif roses, and strawberries. The goal is to introduce new varieties, enhance production efficiency, and make significant strides in the region's agricultural landscape.
The center continues to implement various programs to support farmers by providing research and technical solutions grounded in sustainable agricultural practices. These efforts aim to optimize resource use, maximize production value, and align with the goals of the National Agriculture Strategy.
