KSrelief Participates in Seventh Senior Officials Meeting on Humanitarian Situation in Yemen

   Brussels, May 22, 2025, SPA -- The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), represented by Advisor to the Supervisor General and Director of Partnerships and International Relations Dr. Hana Omar, yesterday participated in the Seventh Senior Officials Meeting (SOM VII) on the humanitarian situation in Yemen, held in Brussels under the auspices of the European Commission and the Swedish Government.
   In her remarks, Dr. Hana emphasized the need to uphold international law, protect humanitarian workers, and ensure accurate data to enable fair aid distribution and prevent the politicization or misuse of assistance.
   She also highlighted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's longstanding support for Yemen, which has exceeded $27 billion over the past decades, noting that KSrelief has implemented humanitarian programs worth more than $4 billion across all humanitarian sectors and launched various volunteer initiatives.
