Industry Ministry Ramps Up Factory Inspections in Makkah Ahead of Hajj

   Riyadh, May 21, 2025, SPA -- The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources has conducted over 100 field visits to industrial facilities in Makkah Region to assess their readiness for the 1446 AH Hajj season.
   The visits aimed to monitor the stability of supply chains and ensure the availability of food and consumer products to meet the needs of the pilgrims. They focused on verifying that factories comply with approved quality standards and regulations, ensuring the continuity of production lines for essential goods, including water and food products, and maintaining the smooth flow of consumer goods in response to the heightened demand during the Hajj season.
   This endeavor is part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to monitor the readiness of these establishments to meet the needs of pilgrims.
