Transport Authority: Over 35 Million Passengers Used Trains in Saudi Arabia During Q1 2025

   Riyadh, May 21, 2025, SPA -- The railway transport sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia recorded an exceptional milestone in the first quarter of 2025, with more than 35 million passengers using trains, according to a statement issued today by the Transport General Authority (TGA).
   The authority noted that intercity rail services saw significant growth, with over 3.4 million passengers traveling between cities during the first quarter, reflecting a notable and rising demand in recent months.
   Rail operations help facilitate the movement of passengers and goods while offering safe and convenient transportation options, contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions.
