KSrelief Chief Meets with UN High Commissioner for Refugees

   Brussels, May 20, 2025, SPA -- Advisor at the Royal Court and King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Supervisor-General Abdullah Al Rabeeah met yesterday with UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi on the sidelines of the European Humanitarian Forum held in Brussels. The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to the European Union Haifa Al-Jedea.
   The two sides discussed the strategic partnership and strong relationship between KSrelief and UNHCR, ways to further enhance cooperation, and topics of mutual interest. They also reviewed future programs and joint projects aimed at serving refugees around the world, in addition to issues on the forum's agenda.
   Grandi commended the Kingdom's leadership on alleviating the suffering of the Syrian people and supporting the lifting of sanctions on Syria. He also praised the Kingdom's impactful humanitarian role on the international level and lauded KSrelief's efforts to ease the suffering of refugees and vulnerable communities worldwide.
