KSrelief Supervisor General Meets WFP Executive Director in Brussels

   Brussels, May 20, 2025, SPA -- Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah met on Monday with Executive Director of the World Food Programme (WFP) Cindy McCain on the sidelines of the European Humanitarian Forum in Brussels. Saudi Ambassador to the European Union Haifa Al-Jedea attended the meeting.
   During the meeting, the two sides discussed frameworks for cooperation and coordination regarding humanitarian relief efforts, with a focus on enhancing global food security and supporting international initiatives in this field. They also reviewed topics on the forum’s agenda.
   McCain commended the Kingdom’s leading humanitarian and relief efforts, as well as KSrelief’s qualitative initiatives to support affected populations and countries worldwide, particularly in the area of food security. She praised the center’s sustainable projects to combat hunger and provide essential food supplies to vulnerable groups.
