HM King meets UAE President in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, May 19 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa met with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, at His Majesty’s residence in Abu Dhabi.

The two leaders reflected on the close ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the UAE, and the shared commitment to continue advancing cooperation in support of development priorities and sustainable prosperity in both countries.

Both sides also discussed regional developments in the Middle East and international issues of common interest.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President and senior officials from both countries.

HM the King had arrived earlier in the UAE following a visit to the United Kingdom, during which His Majesty met with His Majesty King Charles III and attended the Royal Windsor Horse Show.

Upon arrival in Abu Dhabi, HM the King was received by Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region.
