Minister of Islamic Affairs Chairs Supreme Committee Meeting on Hajj Season Preparations

   Riyadh, May 19, 2025, SPA -- Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Al-Sheikh chaired today the meeting of the ministry’s Supreme Committee for Hajj Season Affairs, held at the ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh. The meeting was attended by several senior officials and committee members.
   The committee reviewed the ministry's operational plans for the Hajj season, including the readiness of facilities at the holy sites, preparations of mosques and their amenities in Makkah and Madinah, and monitoring the performance of maintenance and operations companies. It also covered the ministry’s religious and awareness programs implemented in Makkah, Madinah, and at border entry points, all aimed at ensuring high-quality services for pilgrims.
   Additionally, the committee discussed several ongoing projects being implemented by the ministry during this Hajj season, with a total value of SAR35,803,135.44. These projects are part of the ministry’s sustained efforts to enhance facilities and services for pilgrims, improve infrastructure at the holy sites, and facilitate the Hajj journey for all pilgrims.
