Grand Mosque Sermon Emphasizes Piety, Power of Supplication as Hajj Season Nears

Makkah, May 16, 2025, SPA -- In his Friday sermon at the Grand Mosque in Makkah, Imam Sheikh Dr. Yasser Al-Dossary urged Muslims to cultivate a deep fear of Allah Almighty, describing piety as the ultimate path to spiritual growth, divine acceptance, and true fulfillment, through which blessings abound, tribulations are averted, and prayers are answered.
The Imam passionately emphasized the profound significance of supplication (Dua) as a powerful catalyst for success and prosperity. He explained that through sincere prayer, divine mercy descends, goodness is granted, calamities and punishments are repelled, and misfortunes and distress are alleviated.
The Imam of the Grand Mosque further drew attention to the approaching days of Hajj, highlighting them as among the most sacred periods for worship and the most auspicious times for supplications to be accepted by the Almighty.
