Interior Minister receives US Ambassador

Manama, May 15 (BNA): General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, received today Steven Bondy, Ambassador of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Major General Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Public Security, was present.

The Minister commended the distinguished relations and strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States, which serve the interests of both countries.

The meeting reviewed bilateral security cooperation programmes and discussed topics aimed at enhancing joint efforts.
