Attorney General receives GCC judicial training delegations

Manama, May 14 (BNA): Dr. Ali bin Fadhel Al Buainain, the Attorney General, received delegations representing judicial and legal training institutions from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states.
The visit is a part of the 2025–2026 joint visit programme coordinated by the GCC General Secretariat. The initiative seeks to foster cooperation and share expertise in legal and judicial training.
Dr. Al Buainain highlighted the value of enhancing institutional partnerships in the judicial and training sectors, noting their role in advancing legal practices and improving professional standards in criminal investigation and prosecution. He also emphasised the importance of aligning training approaches with ongoing legislative and technological developments.
The visit featured a presentation on the cooperation between the Public Prosecution and the Judicial and Legal Studies Institute, particularly training and capacity-building. Delegations were also briefed on Bahrain’s child-sensitive interview procedure in sexual assault cases, as well as the Public Prosecution’s social support initiative, "Rea'aya" (Care).
Delegates commended the initiatives and practices observed, which reflect Bahrain’s commitment to enhancing its judicial system.
